birthmark growing and changed, get my results today.

Hi My name is Peggy. To start with I am turning 31 in november. I have had a birthmark on my vular to the left of the vigina entrance and kinda on the inside area of my left lip. the birthmark was about the size of a dime. bright red sometimes maroon. i could never feel it, it was always smooth like the rest of the skin.Around november I noticed it was rough feeling and bumpy. I asked my husband how long had it been that way.He told me a while make 3 or 4 months. at 1st i didn't think much about it cause it had been itching. So i thought maybe i was irritating it by scratching while i slept. so i started researching it on the internet. Then i got really worried because i found it not only looked like genital warts it also looked like some pictures i found of vulvar cancer. It wasn't spreading or changing any since it had got bumpy.I made a appointment at my DR. . He looked at it, did my pap, told me it was probably just genital warts and he could give me some cream to get rid of it. He also asked was i sexually active with numerous people. I advised him no the same man for the last 13 years my hubby and the same person he delived my last 2 children with. So he told me i needed to speak with my husband he must be cheating on me. As you can imagine i was upset. I told him i want a biopisy done. after me insisting he finally agreed. this was on June 26, 2007 He scheduled me to return for results on July 11th.Well it didn't make it to that date. His office called me back on July 3rd. They said i needed to go into his office ASAP now. This really scared me. I was actually hoping by this time i only had a genital wart. lol. Well no such luck. he appologized for insulting me and my husband, and thanked me for insisting on doing a biopisy. He told me to breath its not cancer yet. Only stage III severe dysplesia. He said i would need a surgery immediately to remove the whole thing. Myself not having insurance. I told him i would have to save for a month to afford it. He told me i didn't have a month. So i opted for the cheaper route of doing it in his office. awake, local shot only, then cutting it out and sewing it to look kinda normal. I had this done on July 6th durning his lunch hour. To be honest those who are going to have this done. The numbing shots hurt, the cutting and sewing only feel tugging and pulling like pressure. Now the after surgery it is very uncomfortable and hurts. I have already busted some of the stitches.I go in this afternoon for my 1st checkup since and my results. Hope this helps others and any info would be appreciated.my prayers are with you all i have been reading alot on here today.

Jesus! You are brave so I know you will beat this. But you MUST see an Oncologist. Your doctor can't continue treating you like this! Has he also diagnosed whether you have High Risk or Low risk HPV? Please get in to see an Oncologist ASAP. God Bless,Esra
