I work full time (I am an RN) and I am a full time master's student.  I am a mother of 2 married children and a grandmother of a 4 year old.  I was diagnosed with MGUS, IGA (0.2%) with negative Bence Jones Protein, after an MRI for a rotator cuff tear showed bone marrow edema.  I was scheduled for a bone marrow Biopsy last week, but cancelled the appointment.  I am asymptomatic and feel well.  I am paralyzed by fear.  I need to know how to go on with my life without being in total denial.  I want to be optomitstic and continue with my plans, but feel blunted and alone.  My husband is great, but I don't want to burden my parents and children with this.  I am so glad I found this site.
