tarceva

My 60 years old father is on his 6th day on Tarceva and has already the rash. The doctors say it is a positive sign ! Is it ? Does anyone know whether it is ok to eat honey as I understand sugar is not the best thing to eat when you have cancer. Best Wishes to Everyone

My doctor said it was a great sign. It means that the medicine is working. I would let th Dr. know how severe the rash is. Also, sugar is not good for cancer. My doctor said you don't have to cut it out entirely but watch it.
