CancerCompass message board discussion started by Dolly on 8/12/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,15207,0.htm Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ My husband has RCC - one kidney was removed last year - they are keeping an eye on a growth on remaning kidney that so far is not growing.  He has been having lots of back pain - and had an MRI last week.  MRI showed arthritis and degenerative discs - but what is scaring me is that it said there were marrow signal changes that should be investigated.  Yikes - could the RCC go to the bone marrow? I am not even sure which of our doctors to ask about this - the oncologist, nephrologist,  or?   Any advice appreciated.  Everyone on the board was in my prayers at church this morning.Lydia Dolly Sun, 12 Aug 2007 00:00:00 GMT Absolutely, RCC speads I would call your oncologist immediately.  I'm glad to see you came to this site but you should do some research about RCC.  You need to know as much as possible to help understand it and help your husband.
