I am from NY and have been taking Mom to Sloan for over a year.  Doctor we have is Dr Chung, very good but not so good on bedside manner.  Still, treatment very good. Chrissy m Wed, 15 Aug 2007 00:00:00 GMT Thank you for your response.  I have a doctor's appointment at the Rockefellar Outpatient Pavilion.  I am thinking I will fly into Laguardia.  Also considering staying at one the places listed on the S/K website.  The places listed are expensive but are close to S/K.  I'm not sure how long I will have to stay in NY.  They have told me I would have to live there as long as I was recieving treatment.  So If they are willing to treat me I will have to look around for longer term lodging.  I will just have to figure out how to get from Laguardia to where I am staying.  Thanks. I heard Sloan has a special lodging at the hospital for patients who are out of towners.  I don't know how much it is but its worth a try to find out.
