long term side effects

Hi out there,my husband was diagnosed with EC last year. he also was diagnosed with Lymphoma. The lymphoma was found during his Cat Scan for his esophagus. He was treated for the Lymphoma with Chemo and he is in remission, He had his esophagectomy in February of this year and was hospitalized for 55 days. He is now six month post op. He has made remarkable progress except for one thing he has a constant cough is this a common side effect of the surgery? He has lost about 70 pounds and eats 6 small meals a day he has experienced little or no dumping is anyone out there having the same problems. Carolw
