Hi, Marty -- I would suggest checking with Gilda's Club in NYC to see if they have suggestions, and also with Ronald McDonald House. Although the latter only deals with kids (I believe), they may well be able to offer advice. Have you asked the people at Sloan for suggestions? Good luck -- Babette

I agree, check with Sloan. You can also check with hotels. The often have free or greatly discounted rooms. You can also check with hospitality homes where people open up there homes for you.http://www.hosp.org/ You can check WESTIN HOTEL GUESTROOM PROGRAM No cost accommodations A cooperative effort of the American Cancer Society (ACS), and the Westin Hotel. The program provides accommodations, based on availability, to cancer patients receiving treatment. The Westin Hotel donates the room and waives the tax. However, occupants are responsible for anyother charges incurred during their stay. A $75.00 deposit will be secured from the guest upon check-in to the hotel to cover any of these charges. It will be refunded if unused. Do not call the hotel directly. All applications must first be screened by ACS. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are looking to fly, here are some resourceshttp://www.angelflightcentral.org/ or http://www.corpangelnetwork.org/
