CancerCompass message board discussion started by alw74 on 8/21/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,15505,0.htm Sun, 07 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sun, 07 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I was just told today that I have a solid mass on my right kidney.  However, they didn't say what size, etc.  They just gave me the number to a urologist.  When I called the urologist, they coudln't get me in for a month; and only when I got upset did they get me in in 10 days.  I can't understand why this isn't more urgent.  I have called my doctors office and asked them to help me get in earlier but they still haven't called me back.  I have even told them the pain has gotten worse and I have a fever now.  It doesn't sound good b/c I know that cysts are filled with water and this is a solid mass so I would think they would want to do something asap.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I am still in shock as I had no symptoms; I went for an ultrasound a week ago for something totally different and only started having kidney pain 2 days ago. alw74 Tue, 21 Aug 2007 00:00:00 GMT
