Monophasic Synovial Sarcoma

My wife has monophasic synovial sarcoma that began in the area of her right lung between the lung and the diaphram. Her case was diagnosed in 2000. probably would have metastasized to her diaphram, but the surgeon removed part of her diaphram to try and prevent the cancer from spreading down through that area. It has not spread to her liver, but she did develop a tumor on her heart that had to be operated on and removed.

Hope this can help at all.

Who do you know with monophasic synovial sarcoma?

i Know Someone...

I know someone...me. Surgery was 1 year 4 days ago at presbyterian hospital in dallas. Mine was located just above the left wrist and was touching the ulna. (which got removed along with a negative margin of soft tissue.)

I'm just glad I can still type. No evidence yet of spreading to other locations. (was a cogenital defect)
