If you have a choice a wide excision is always better and less disfiguring than a vulvectomy. To see if it has spread to your lymph nodes they usually do a physical exam, feeling to see if the nodes are enlarged as well as a CT scan. positive Thu, 08 Nov 2007 00:00:00 GMT
