Can I work while having treatment?

Hi - I'm a single parent, only 44 years old, and I have cholangiocarcinoma. It was dx only 3 weeks ago. Next week I start chemo and radiation therapy. As a single parent of three, I really need to continue to work as much as possible in order to provide for my children. Short term disability only will pay 60% of my earnings. Has anyone had experience with trying to work while undergoing treatment? Do you get too sick or tired to work? The cancer care center is only a 20 minute drive from my place of employment. The kind of work I do is on computers (GIS, SQL).

A few more details - I live in the Seattle area ( the place to be if you get cancer! ) I'm female, and in excellent health except for the cancer. Up until a couple of weeks before diagnosis, I had been trying to ride my bike 10 miles every other night.~ Lisa
