CancerCompass message board discussion started by Igahmah on 9/6/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,15927,0.htm Sat, 30 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sat, 30 Aug 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Last week I went to my oncologist for my semi annual exam.  As usual, for the last five years, (yes I have almost reached the five year mark) she said all my numbers were good and everything looked fine.  I asked her about taking something after the five years on tomoxifin and she said because my tumor was so small and there was no lymph node involvement and a few other things she said she would not recommend that I take anything after my tomoxifin.  I said all that to say, this week I have noticed a slight red tint in my urine.  I read on the internet that it could be kidney cancer or it could be some other thing.  If my doctor just told me everything was ok, should I still go get my urine tested, or wait and see it it continues. Igahmah Thu, 06 Sep 2007 00:00:00 GMT I hope that you have already consulted with your oncologist or family doctor regarding this.  Definitely have more blood/urine tests done--if your current oncologist won't help, seek a second opinion.
