Bladder Cancer--- T.B.

Hi,Three months back my father was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Following the diagnosis, Dr. removed the cancerous cell and recomended six weeks BCG treatment. During the BCG treatment my father went through a lot of side effects. He developed sporadic glucoma which he had to get operated. Soon affter the first BCG he developed UTI. And now Drs are suspecting TB. He has been prescribed antituberculosis medice. I am really worried about the TB. Is it a common side effect? If not what should we do about it? How does this effect his cancer status. If any one can provide me with any information I will be really obliged. Thanks,Arya
