4th Stage Questions

I recently visited my brother in October 2004 in Flint, MI and at that time he had lymphomic cancer - started chemotherapy every 3-4 weeks. Now it is February 2005 and he has since developed tumors in spinal cord and brain and 4th stage brain cancer - with tumor on back side of head - creating optic problems (eyes roll and cannot focus) as well as two weeks ago because of the tumor on the spine...has lost walking capabilities...any inside related information anyone has to give...I would appreciate...he has now completed 5 out of 10 radiation treatments...can really see a difference...seems chemo did more damage than help?

Thanks,

Where There is Breath, There is Hope!

Dear Theresa, I applaud your devoted attention to your brother, and wish I could share-your-pain as you watch his condition worsen. Is his therapy in the hands of the CTC staff? Whether this is the case, CTC is renowned for their comprehensive approach, which empowers the individual as the prime decision-maker, recognizing the need for acceptance of responsibility. I ask this, as I believe that their consistent practice is to lend sufficient nutritive support, in every possible way, that the further deterioration I see you as describing remains a less likely development. I cannot stand by idly when I know of one whom I may assist. In all sincerity, Michael L Morgan, ND

Never, Never Give up Hope

You requested information more one year ago, I know. I emphatize with you because I had to go through similar things many years ago when my father had terminal cancer. I just happened to click on the link that leads to your message. Out of concern, here's my response. I'm also encouraging an acquaintance who also has fourth stage cancer.

What's the latest development?
