CancerCompass message board discussion started by laralu69 on 9/8/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,15996,0.htm Sat, 11 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sat, 11 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ i am in complete awe, i have been going crazy thinking that i was the only 38 yr old female with this mind boggling disease. i got diagnosed in 2001 with et, i have tried hydrea with unpleasant effects and went on agrilyn with not so good side effects, but got the platelets down.my ranges were 600,000-1,500 and stayed down around 600,000-700,000 for several years.i thought i had this thing whipped. in may i got bad news they have tripled and have stayed so for 5 months now. i have to go back on chemo in nov.i am seeing a haulistic healer to help prepare myself best i can for this dreaded experience i do believe that your mental state is your best weapon against this disease. i am very greatful that i found you all although different circumstances would have been better. i wish you all peace and may god bless ms.larab laralu69 Sat, 08 Sep 2007 00:00:00 GMT
