ANY INPUT ON ISSELS TREATMENT CENTER??? GOOD OR BAD

Dear members,I have read about Issels treatment center many times online. Any input on weather this place is worth trying. My father is a stage IV stomach cancer patient. Chemo did NOT work at all, and his cancer is spreading to area around the lungs. I'm looking for alternative procedures. Location according to website is in Mexico. Any other locations??? Also its a non-profit organization. No offense, but does this leverage the quality of work and medications in there, no offense again. We have started our journey in M.D. Anderson (Texas) thats for the chemo treatment, which did not work. Any recommended centers, even if expensive! Please give your input weather good or bad. This may save my father's life! Please!!!Thank you all

I saw your message about the Issels treatment. I myself have returned from having a months treatment in September of this year. I can only say one thing and that is "Go for it". They doctors are verystraight to the point and they will tell you what they think. Ring the up and talk to them, they will answer what questions they can. I am returning in March for a follow up. Nothing was offered in the UK except for pallative but now I have hope real hope. I was diagnosed with ade. carcinoma of the lung in July and started treatment in September and I have never looked back.
