Hi Lostsmiles, I am sorry you are going through this. My mother actually was dx in 03 with RCC and the surgeon said he removed the kidney and got it all. Not so, this type of cancer spreads through the bloodstream and can end up anywhere in your body. My mom had not had it in the pancreas but in the lungs, liver, brain, intestine. Do you have an oncologist that you can speak with to start some kind of treatment?

Hi,Yes we just started with an onc for Sutent, but after a long start to the year. They are not really sure what it is, if it's pancreatic or renal cell. So treating for RC my not be the right thing to do. This so messy, I'm losing my mind!! Just feels like we keep walking into walls! On 9/18/2007 runningragged wrote:Hi Lostsmiles, I am sorry you are going through this.

Hi, As runningragged said RCC is a cancer that stays in the blood stream and can go anywhere..... from my research anyway, I would stay on top of your onc. to quickly find out which type the cancer is so you can choose a treatment option ASAPWishing you Well,Cindy
