Anyone in 50's After Prostatectomy With Risen Psa

At age 50, my husband had radical prostatectomy 12/2001 with gleason 7, one cancerous lymph node, and PSA of 18 at surgery. Now 3 1/2 yrs later, PSA began rising 11/2004 at 2.5, now at 5.3 in 2/2005. Anyone with this situation? Did you opt for castration and did you opt for other non-hormonal treatment?
