"luck" w/ a Lot(& Not Just "anything"!)

First, keep what humor you can, for attitude is an essential component of success! I highly commend Dr. Quillin's book, "Beating Cancer With Nutrition"; several years old, it has been slightly revised; didn't need much, as is pretty leading edge! Akin's carries, & I think Wild Oats may have it. There is one mistake well -intentioned folk make, and that is to try a 2nd or 3rd stage therapy for a stage IV condition! When the cells have "gone crazy", we must attack on all fronts! I know that more 02 will help to check the cancer growth(they cannot live in an oxygen-rich environment), and this is especially pertinent in lung conditions!(There are hyperbaric chambers @ the Baptist burn ctr in OKC) Raising the cellular pH is imperative(cancer cells cannot live in an alkaline environment!), and use of a good homeopathic lymph stimulant will be of immense help! A good supply of pure water is needed(clustered/structured H20 is best, as it is more efficient in cell permeation & transports, & raises cell pH!!)A source of predigested, full-spectrum amino acids, with probiotics, whole-food-source, enzymatically active vitamins & plant-derived minerals in synergistic balance, a little daily exercise(enough to move around, walk briskly, bounce on a mini-trampoline; just don't work to fatigue), and a few(10-15) minutes daily of sunshine round out the list of protocols! See the teams @ CTCA for adjunctive helps! God bless, and may you and your uncle enjoy life 'til the 2nd Coming! Michael L Morgan, ND

I Couldn't Agree More.

The Beating Cancer with Nutrition book has not only given us incredible insite that the doctor's just don't tell you, but a new outlook on how you eat and what you eat. I now read labels at the gracery market like I have never done before. I try to buy pure organic items when I can (especially, milk, cream, butter and eggs). I also don't buy anything but pure natural organic sugar if I use any at all. I strongly recommend this book also. Another good one is There's No Place Like Hope by Vicki Gerard, for the cancer patient. The author actually references the nutrition book in there. That's how I came to buy it.

Nutrition For Cancer/"luck" W/a Lot(& Not Just Anything)

Nomorecancervictims!(Michael M.)

I too am looking into Nutrition ,( for me to beat my Bladder cancer).I will buy Dr. Quillin's book, "beating cancer with nutrition", tomorrow. Have you read "anything" about the treatment called (CAAT), Controlled Amino Acid Therapy, from the A P John Institute for For cancer research, which claims for their mission, to research, and publish and distribute to Doctors, and the general public, proven scientific information about integrative protocols for prevention and treatment of Cancer. It is headed up by Angelo P. John, Sr., and has operated his own research for the past 18 years (per his website info). It appears that the CAAT therapy impairs the creation of certain amino acids that are essential to manufacture DNA in "cancer cells", and without structure, the cancer cell can Not develop. I would appreciate hearing from anyone about Nutrition to beat cancer.
Respectfully, Screen name: Donald P.

RE: Nutrition For Cancer/"luck" W/a Lot(& Not Just Anything)

Hi, My brother aged 36 had a rare form of lung cancer (he was a non smoker) and was on CAAT. He was on this therapy for 6 months, it was quite an intensive programme and he was taking about 40 - 50 pills and capsules per day (of which about 75% were capsules that contained the formula to reduce proteins in the body). The therapy was a very plausible concept to us. Whilst the cancer did not grow during the therapy, I was not convinced the cancer went into remission at any particular point due to CAAT. He was also on a form of chemotherapy with CAAT so it is possible that the chemo had halted the growth. My brother passed away last year, in July 2007 a chest infection ended his suffering. He stopped the CAAT just the month before in June 2007 after viewing an X-Ray and deciding it wasn't helping him. Whilst it did not seem to work for my brother, it may work for other types of cancer and for other individuals. I have to say the team at the John A.P cancer institute are extremely supportive, Pam especially was great, her efforts were much appreciated.Cuda.
