My mom's surgery was very successful. however, she still has diarrhea 5 months later. this does not happen often and the doctors have her on many medications, (Panges, Klor-Con (Potassium), Cholestyram Magnexium Oxide and Sandostatin.) But they don't seem to know what to tell us about nutritional advice. We have been following the BRAT diet. But there must be info out there somewhere on what to eat. Ad especially on what Not to eat. can anyone help us? We feel so fortunate that her surgery was such a success. Now we want her to get over the diarrhea. She is down to 112 pounds.
