looking for ovarian onc. specialist

My close relative has ovarian cancer, it has now spread to other places in her body. She lives in Montreal and is desperate for another doctor to take a look at her. Can someone help recommend an specialist that would see her?? I live in the NY/NJ area.

Thank you,
Abby

Thank you, Abby Hi -Eva Chalis is great, but you should also try Dr. John Lovecchio at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Long Island. He is terrific and it is always good to get a second and see who you are comfortable with. They are both gyn oncologists.Diane T.

AbbyM:If you are looking in NJ, I recommend Dr Karen Houck at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She saved my wife's life with her skill and there is no finer, kinder nor more compassionate doctor anywhere than she. We thank God for her wonderful care and compassion. She is an Obgyn surgeon trained in Oncology and chemotherapy. A wonderful person and a gifted doctor.973_971_5900.Good luck and God Bless you for what you are doing to help your relative.John/NJ

Hi. I, too, would recommend both Dr. Eva Chalas and Dr. John Lovecchio. Dr. Chalas was my sister's doctor, and saved her life. When I was diagnosed, she recommended Dr. Lovecchio to me ( I live in NYC and he's closer to where I live). You can't go wrong with either of them. By the way, Dr. Lovecchio is head of the oncological gynecology/surgery dept. at North Shore Manhasset. Good luck......Jayne
