CancerCompass message board discussion started by Chrissy m on 9/29/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,16635,0.htm Mon, 08 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT Mon, 08 Sep 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ After 16 months of a very brave and valiant fight, my mother lost her life to this cancer this morning.  She was at home surrounded by her loved ones and her beautiful kitties, with her favorite music playing.  She was very courageous for the most part, fighting the symptoms of chemo for a full year before deciding that she wanted to live the last of her life without treatment.  She was 76 years old and did not let cancer define her existence.
