CancerCompass message board discussion started by 8chalupa on 10/2/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,16707,0.htm Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT Tue, 02 Dec 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Was wondering if anyone has advice.  My 81 yr old Mother has non hodgkins lymphoma of the stomach.  She completed her 24 radiation treatment a week ago today.  She was doing fairly well with drinking 3 Boosts a day and very little solid food.  She has been extremely week.  But I've noticed over the past couple of days her appetite has decreased and she's tired of drinking Boosts.  She's become even weaker.  I'm so scared that she's giving up and I'm so surprised that she seemed to do better when she was on radiation?  Is this normal after radiation is completed?  I know that the radiation will continue working even after completed but I guess I was hoping things would improve instead of getting worse.   8chalupa Tue, 02 Oct 2007 00:00:00 GMT
