RE: My wife is !00% cured of terminal liver cancer

Today i spoke with linda from dr. Canady's office . She is making arrangements at allegheny for us to come out and begin the test necessary for possible surgery . I hope it works out for us . This is our only hope. When he spoke to me yesterday he said he would try to help him. I am sacared to get my hopes up , but when i think of your wife's size of the tumor i am optimistic. He has several tumors and there are also satalite tumors. Say a prayer for god's mercy and grace. Thanks

One post about this should be enough. What is the reason of posting the same thing over and over again on a board that rarely gets post? It's been posted about 5-6 times already. I understand that you want to let people know if this, but do it on various other boards not on the same board repeatedley!!!!

I am curious about the treatment your wife recieved for her liver. I have tried oxliplatin/leukovorin/5FU, that did not work, Avastin caused my tumor to rupture, and we just found out that my CEA has tripled on Erbitux. They tell me they have done all they can. What did your wife do. My liver is 94% covered. Did you all consider Alternative Medicine with chemo?I

Hi,My Dad is getting 5FU treatment (I am not sure if that is how you spell it). It has been working and he feels pretty good. The only size effects he has is fatigue and the skin on his hands and feet are pealing. Other than that he feels ok. The unfortunate thing is that, even though the tumors have shrunk, because the liver is covered over 90%, surgery is not an option.I hope this helps. Maybe you can ask your doctor about the 5FU treatments. I am still searching for new treatments and doctirs - I'll keep you posted if I find out anything else. Thanks and God Bless.
