She is making arrangements at allegheny for us to come out and begin the test necessary for possible surgery .  I hope it works out for us . This is our only hope.  When he spoke to me yesterday he said he would try to help him. I am curious about the treatment your wife recieved for her liver. I have tried oxliplatin/leukovorin/5FU, that did not work, Avastin caused my tumor to rupture, and we just found out that my CEA has tripled on Erbitux. They tell me they have done all they can. What did your wife do. My liver is 94% covered. Other than that he feels ok.  The unfortunate thing is that, even though the tumors have shrunk, because the liver is covered over 90%, surgery is not an option.I hope this helps.  Maybe you can ask your doctor about the 5FU treatments.  I am still searching for new treatments and doctirs - I'll keep you posted if I find out anything else.Thanks and God Bless. cancerdaughter Mon, 08 Oct 2007 00:00:00 GMT
