RE: stage 4 survivors

I just went into remission in the last 8 weeks. This is my first bout with cancer. i checked out a clinical tial but felt I still hadn't recovered from chemo enough to participate. Although It's hard to find any data regarding diet I have really changed my eating habits. Tons of vegetables, greens, fruit ect. Almost all organic. I feel my body craving this type of food. I drink green tea and am trying hard to cut out the sugar. There are some clinical trials out there. But there is also a quality of life issue. If you need specifics let me know. My best wishes to you and your Mom. I will keep you in my prayers. Only someone whose been through it truely knows. E mail me anytime

I seems to rule my life and I don't make any plans ahead of 3 months. The chemo was very debilerating, an d I had dry eyes and neuropathy in fingers and toes. I feel fine now and am hoping for the best next month. The oncologist said I now have a chronic condition and will have to be maintained with the cancer, but I don't know how long this will go on. Hope this is of some help
