mouth problems

I just started taking Sutent 3 days ago . My mouth feels like I burned it on a hot drink. Is it normal for the side effects of Sutent to start after only 3 50 mg pills.

I was hoping the feeling would subside when I went off the Sutent for a week. I am also on the 3 week on 1 week off regimen. I have just finished 2 weeks of Sutent and have not had any problems except for my mouth and some fatigue.
