RE: Krukenberg Tumor?

Hi, My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric cancer (adenocarcinoma) Jan 2007. She developed a large ovarian metastasis in March 2007 (Krukenberg Tumor). Her course has been rough. Three different chemo regimens so far. The ovarian tumor seems to have shrunk a bit since starting our latest round of tx (CPT-11). She has lost a lot of weight, esp in the last few weeks. Her apetite is nil. The side effects of the chemo are pretty bads for her. She even had a bad round of ascities, but the CPT-11 knocked that out. I am not sure that we can beat this. Good luck to you. Decker
