I am in the 4 th stage so I am not a canidate for sergury. The offered me chemo but all it would provide was possibly a few more months and the passability that I would be able to eat more.  I have been in bad pain for 3 months now and they have just gotten it under control. I don't want to take the chemo because I am too afraid I would not be able to keep my meds-pills down.  I was told I was terminal Friday October 6 th.  My question is: what can I expect to happen to me from here? thorever Thu, 11 Oct 2007 00:00:00 GMT Hello Randy.  So sorry to hear about your sickness.  My father is going through the same thing right except they operated on him by removing 70% of his stomach.  Unfortunately when they opened him up they realized that it spread to 17 lympnodes (which they removed as well)Right now he going through chemo.  He was diagnosed July, but has been in pain since April.  I'm not going to lie to you Randy, everyone is different.  There's no honest answer.  Some people are stronger than others and go on to live while others unfortunately do not.  Whatever you do, do not give up hope!  Be positive. Steeda Thu, 11 Oct 2007 00:00:00 GMT Iwas diognosed with stage 4 stomach cancer june 8,2007. After 4 rounds of chemo the tumor shank and will going in for surgery next month. Some people like myself can handle chemo ok. I called i sick 1 day out of each round of chemo. Otherwise working 6 days aweek. I did not enjoy it but I am currantly a fan. It does work for some people. I used the morphine to continue eating. You must proactive and continue to fight.good luck my thoughts are with you. markc Wed, 14 Nov 2007 00:00:00 GMT
