After Chemo

I am 69. Have had 4 operations for tumour removal, 2 bouts of raditherapy, and 3 cycles of chemo. (Carboplatin and Taxol) Operations went OK. Raditherapy left me with a woody effect on one side of my neck and loss of 50% of saliva glands.Chemo was not too bad. Dropped almost 60% from pre chemo readings for Hb, white cell and Platelet counts. Almost 6 months later I seem to be in remission but there is 6 months still to go.I have recovered about half of the loss on the counts. The medical people tell me that I will probably not get much more. I still have little feeling in my fingertips and the soles of my feet. The medical people still think both may recover. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar results? Can I expect any better results? Pluv
