I'm sure you know by now where the tumor is...right in the Y of the Hepactic Bile Ducts leading to the common bile duct. A PET scan will tell you more...cancer can not hide from a PET scan. As for treating this tumor surgery is by far the best approach. I read the other response telling you about Doctor Canady, yes I understand he is very good and agressive when it comes to handling this type of cancer. The mistake the person made in his/her response is that Doctor Canady is the ONLY doctor that will consider surgery. If you live on the East Coast, yes I would contact Doctor Canady...but if you live on the West Coast I would contact the liver transplant department at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco. My wife was also diagnosed with a Klatskin Tumor in 2003 and had surgery and is doing very well. There are at least 3 if not more surgeons at UCSF that will do surgery.Good Luck and take care,Leonard
