STAGE 1V PROSTATE CANCER

Is there someone who is or has gone through stage 1V prostate cancer or who knows someone ,....who would be willing to share with us what treatment they had and where they went for treatment, and what we might expect. We have heard the the Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. is one of the best places to go for treatment however that is a long way from where we live in Michigan. Any thing anyone can share with us about stage 4 cancer would be greatly appreciated.

Although I have stage T1C, my research has led me to Cancer Tretament Centers of America. I am scheduled for their facility in Tulsa in January. My two prior visits confirmed my choice. They have a holistic approach which encompasses the whole person.God bless,Georgealbert

A friend of mine who was considered terminal from his prostate cancer last December is alive and well with no sign of the disease anywhere in his body now more than ten months later... I posted the story of his successsful recovery earlier this year on this board and just found it in the archives. Scroll down to the message from Shemay.

Thank you so much for responding to my question in regard to stage 1v prostate cancer. You have been very helpful and I so appreciate your help. My brother is doing very well now, on hormone therapy. Have you also had the hormone therapy? Sincerely Gracie

If you are near Ann Arbor the Univ of Michigan has some renowned experts in prostate cancer. I'll get you names if you want to reply publicly or privately. Also, Dr. Derek Raghavan at Cleveland Clinic is world renowned. Go to a real expert, not just a facility that pumps people through it. With stage IV you deserve the best.
