      <title>Metastatic Stage IV Squamous Bladder Cancer</title>
      <description>I need information from anyone who can help for alternative treatments for Stage IV Metastatic Squamous Cell Bladder Cancer, now metastisized to the bones and liver.&amp;nbsp; Drs. not offering much.&amp;nbsp; Now being treated at Burzynski in Houston but no signs of shrinkage after 3 weeks of therapy.&amp;nbsp; Does anyone have any experience with this form of cancer and possible treatments??Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jan&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Hi Jan, I am a 72 years old women. With high-grade bladder cancer. I had my bladder removed in 2001 but the cancer returned in 2006 and mets to my liver. I am in stage III/IV cancer. I am on a clinical trial at the University of Michigan and taking a drug in pill form called &amp;quot;sutent&amp;quot;. It is helping and holding the cancer at bay for the last 7 cycles in taking the drug. But it has many side-effects. Hope this information help. Remember the enemy of cancer is hope.
