Lump question

I had a vasectomy in August and this week noticed a lump in my testicle. Today the lump seems a bit bigger and is a bit painful. Post-vasectomy, I had no issues and no swelling so I assume the lump is not related to the vasectomy. I intent to call my doctor this week, but was curious to find out what symptoms others experienced and if it could be related to the vasectomy. Looking forward to reading responses....thanks.

RE: Lump question

I've not had a vasectomy before but I've had testicular cancer and if there is a lump in your testicles, you need to have it checked right away. A Urologist will send you to have an ultrasound of your testicles which will shed a big light on this - also having blood test for tumor markers (AFP & HCG) may be ordered as well. Let me know if I can be of further assistance once you have a diagnosis..good luck!
