colon- constipation after the whipple proceidure

5 month ago I had a wipple proceidure done. They took out 6 inch of my Colon, removed a Tumor from my Pancreas and took out some Gallstones. All the same time. No cancer! However, I am constantly constipated. The prescriptio med, has too many side effects so I won't take it. After loosing 40 pounds, I still have no appetite and can't gain no weight. Is there an all natural Enema? I hate to talk about this but I am really in pain. Thanks for your help.

It could be that your system is very low in MAGNESIUM. I find it necessary to take mega doses of magnesium every day in order to eliminate in a regular and healthy way. There are many types of stress that can cause your system to require extra magnesium. Very often muscle cramps are another sign of this deficiency. My Naturopath recommends that I take it to tolerance, which means increase your dosage every day until you develope a loose stool and then cut back a bit and stay at that lesser dose. I personally use magnesium citrate and take six 150mg capsules a day. Hope this is helpful.
