CancerCompass message board discussion started by ally5051 on 11/9/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,17803,0.htm Sat, 19 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sat, 19 Jul 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ I haven't posted a message since August after posting about my CT scans showing lung nodules.  My heart goes out to all of you who are going through the difficult times from these cancers.  I took your advice and went to a lung specialist who reviewed the scans and he takes an approach of every 3 months do a scan. I just had my 2nd scan on Nov. 5th and have a follow up with the Dr. on Nov 13th, which is when I find out where it stands. But this time they did the CT without contast (the I V) as sometimes with contrast shows false results as it shows any broken blood vessels, etc. So I am hoping that the new one they found in my right lung (5mm x 2mm) doesn't show up this time. It was indeterminate the last time.  The 7mm one seemed stable and hopefully, none of that has changed. I have changed my diet to one of no red meats (rarely) more fruits and veggies and vitamin supplements.  I will keep everyone in my prayers and will let you know how my visit goes. I have confidence in him as he is going to keep a close watch on it due to the cancer history in my family. Makes me feel as though I am not just pushed aside as unimportant until the nodules get larger. Thanks to all of you on this site...it is so good to know that there is support out there.
