Go to http://cancerguide.org/kofaq/ and join the kidney-onc email support list. There you will find many stage 4 survivors willing to discuss treatments that have worked for them. Your cousin should find a doctor experienced in treating stage 4 kidney cancer. The Kidney cancer Association (Tel 800-850-9132) can help him find an experienced doctor near him.

RE: my cousin has kidney cancer

Dear Jrjalesha, never mind the doctor, thay told my dad that he will die within 6 months and he is still alive(it's been 3 years). As long as your cousin has someone who will fight for him, he has a good chance to live. He should find another oncologist and get some informations on Nexavar or Sutent. It won't cure him but every day counts. Just ask for information and we will all try to help you. It will be ok, you just have to belive.
