CancerCompass message board discussion started by brovo on 11/10/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,17852,0.htm Tue, 07 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Tue, 07 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Husband had bladder and prostate cancer 2004.  Had bladder and prostate removed.  His urostomy pouch will become purple after 2-3 days of wear.  I change pouch when it becomes discolored, and change complete system every 5-6 days.  Stoma is nice pink color and he has no other problems except for odor and mucus which I am told is common.  I just wonder about the change of color for the pouch and also the night drainage tube become purple after about 2-3 week use.  Any thoughts on this? brovo Sat, 10 Nov 2007 00:00:00 GMT
