There is still a 30 minute wait after the infusion of the benedryl and Hydrocordisone, prior to the infusion of the Torisel.  Have other Torisel patients experienced this change to the Torisel chemo routine?In addition, have any of the Torisel patients noticed a loss of the ability to taste food correctly ? There is still a 30 minute wait after the infusion of the benedryl and Hydrocordisone, prior to the infusion of the Torisel.  Have other Torisel patients experienced this change to the Torisel chemo routine?In addition, have any of the Torisel patients noticed a loss of the ability to taste food correctly ?Originally I was on NEXIVAR for 8 months.  Had some positive results in tumor reduction.  However the treatment was very debilitating.  Changed over to Torisil in Oct. 2007.  Treatment much more tolorible.  Occasionally I go off treatmen due to low white blood count.  One annoying side effect is the mattalic taste that occurs in the mouth.  Energy level goes up and down.   Hope this helps.
