      <description>Tinyurl (http://tinyurl.com/ ) is a a&amp;nbsp;url generated by a free service which takes very long urls and assigns them to a short, more easily handled (and emailed) urls.&amp;nbsp; The long url it points to might by anything.&amp;nbsp; I have used tinyurl often to create more easily handled urls to medical journal articles, etc.&amp;nbsp; I consider a tinyurl to be very appropriate, and very useful.</description>
