I have been on every pill for ulcers and acid reflux and the pills make me worse. I am on the last trail of a pill that I am still getting worse on. This pain affects everything including my head. I can not eat or barely drink and I have been this way for almost 7 months. My doctor did a barium swallow but nothing else. He believes it is an ulcer. But how can it be? Meds make me worse. It effects my whole stomach and esophages and I can hardly breath. I can not think from lack of food. Today I put the phone in the drawer and could not find it even after pressing the beaping signal. I think lack of food is getting to me. There is tons of gas in my stomach or air like when u get a Laperoscopy. I feel like a pillow or football is in there. Please?  Thanx.  Hello.  I am sorry to hear you are feeling so ill.  I know it mustbe terrible to feel so bad for so long.  I am definitely not an expertnor have I personally experienced your pain.  My mother did battlestomach cancer though and her symptoms were put off due to her youngage and overall health.  She too had a barium swallow done and it didnot show anything to be concerned about.  She also had blood work comeback normal as well.  It wasn't until she had the endoscopy (cameradown the esophagus into the stomach) that they found out what exactlyshe was dealing with.  My mom waited 5 months before being properlydiagnosed.  The reason for me telling you this is to stress theimportance of being pro-active for your health's sake.  You have tokeep pushing even if you are not well enough too.  Have family help youif necessary!Your symptoms do sound familiar but, I know thatthere could be other reasons for them too.  Your doctor could very wellbe right in your case (I really hope he is) but, you need to know forsure.  7 months is too long for anyone to be so uncomfortable.  Pleasepress on and gather some support from your family.My thoughts and prayers are with you.Take care      Keep Smiling... My brother too had terrible stomach pains over the months and he thought that it was gastric problem all the while. A month ago when the pain was unbearable he went for a endoscopy where it was confirmed that it was stage 2 CA of the stomach. He had a gastrectomy done and is currently recovering. Me my self was  diognosed with stage 2 stomach cancer  1 month ago . i hope that u dont have that couse is  a terrible disease 2 have .
