Watch out of increased sugar levels. I also came down with pnemonia. My onconolgist doesn't see a connection. But sugar level are tied to torisel. I also developed a rash which resolved itself.Keep in touch. I'll be getting a cat scan soon. Two weeks or so Richard2 Thu, 29 Nov 2007 00:00:00 GMT Thanks for the info Richard -- please keep me posted. jill123 Thu, 29 Nov 2007 00:00:00 GMT My partner has been on toricel since August for RCC that has spread to bones and lungs.  Not too many major side effects.  First one was a metallic taste when eating that ruins his appetite, but it comes and goes and has been better lately.  Currently having major foot pain - bottom of feet are very red.  Feet and ankles are swollen for past week.  Trying ointments but not working so far.  He has had to stop treatment twice to treat slight cases of pnuemonia with antibiotics.  (any suggestions on this?)Scan after first round showed slight shrinkage of nodules in lungs.  Second scan this week but don't have results yet. chrislol Sat, 15 Dec 2007 00:00:00 GMT Thanks for the info.  Sounds like your partner has benefited from Torisel with shrinkage -- and the side effects seem tolerable.  Good luck with everything.  jill123 Sat, 05 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT
