Reoccurent Ovarian Cancer and now Sepsis

Hi,My Mom's cancer came back and caused some major problems including her peg tube becoming blocked due to a tumor in the Small Intestine. My Mom is in critical condition all she recieves in some suger water, Electrolytes and potasium. Mom was on Gevity 1.51 before her cancer came back. and Mom had been getting food into the peg tube since mid January of 2007. Mom has not had any food for over 7 weeks and lost a lot of weight. The Doctors day she is dying and her time is limited. We has suggested and IV of Free Amines and a Lipid solution but the Doctor has indicated this would speed up the dying process. Since she has sepsis I presume that means no food? Is there any Nutrition she can get while she has Sepsis? It seems as if the body does not have any food she will have no chance to recover at all. The Doctors believe because she is so weak her body would not be able to process and food. Just a reminder Mom cannot take and food by mouth and her peg tube is clogged do to a tumor in the Small Intestine. Mom would need to recieve IV treatment. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. Tom
