Seeking information

Hello,My mother has recently been tested (it was a routine test) and they detected Monoclonal Lambda protein-IgG.She was sent to an oncologist, and they did tests on her: bone marrow biopsy, and she is scheduled for bone scans and MRI of the spine. The oncologist suspects it's MGUS (monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance), and as I researched it, I saw it is related to multiple myeloma. I would like to know more about someone's experiences with this condition- i heard different numbers, anywhere from 10-40 percent chance of developing MM from MGUS. These numbers are confusing and unnerving. Does anyone have any experience to share? I would really appreciate it. THank you very much.Ivana
