Perhaps you need to swith your search to a non cancerous site. May God bless you and your family. yavall Thu, 13 Dec 2007 00:00:00 GMT I feel your pain.  If your son is already on a transplant list awaiting a match and not in Florida, may I suggest for you to contact the Jackson Memorial Hospital transplant division in Miami & speak to someone there.  My father received a liver transplant at 72 years old there. Along with him there were 3 other transplant receipients from other States who were placed on the liver transplant waiting list in their State & in Florida.  Due to population and other circumstances we were told by the transplant division here that the chances of someone receiving a liver transplant at Jackson Memorial are greater than at other smaller cities.  My father was blessed with a second chance to live and eventhough now he is struggling with stage IV cancer in another part of his body, he has had 5 wonderful years with his family that he would have not had if it wasn't for the transplant division at Jackson Memorial giving him a second chance. I didn't stop until I exhausted every avenue and I know you are doing the same for your son.  God be with you.  sniffybear Mon, 28 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT
