Alternative Treatments: PH Balance

My wife recently had a tumor removed from her lung & has been diagnosed w/ a rare type of cancer called sarcomatoid carcinoma. The good news is that it had not spread to the lymph nodes although it did appear to have spread outside the lung to a small degree. Although the doctor thinks he got it all out, they are still recommending chemo just to be sure.She's reluctant to put her body through chemo & is interested in the work of a Dr Young in the San Diego area & his book "The PH Miracle". The basic idea is to elevate the alcalinity of your blood to create a healthy environment for your cells...& this can be achieved through basic dietary change.Does anyone know about this type of treatment ? Thoughts, views, experience, recommendations ? All input would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

RE: Alternative Treatments: PH Balance

The PH balance is only one aspect of having a healthy body. I personally have found that taking one half teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water twice a day keeps the ph balanced.
Diet is very very important as is supplementation in preventing and fighting cancer.
I opted not to take conventional treatments in early 2004 and have been on an alternative path ever since with wonderful results. The Naturopath that I began working with did BTA testing to ascertain just where my system was out of balance and then recommended the diet, supplements, treatments etc. necessary to correct that imbalance.Here is a bit of an explanation re the test and if you would like to have a copy of the diet etc. please contact me through private message and I'll send it along. All the best in the season ahead.
What Can We Learn from BTA?
. the level of acidity of the cells of the body;
. the level of compensating alkalinity of both the blood and saliva;
. the ability of the kidneys to excrete the excess acids that are produced within the body;
. the tendency for hemoglobin to release less oxygen to the cells;
. the tendency for the blood to be too thick;
. The ability of the cells to create energy;
. the amount of electrons present in the blood and saliva, and hence the potential for further chemical and enzymatic reactions in these fluids;
. the ability of the kidneys to hold onto electrons;
. the level of mineral deficiency in the blood;
. if there are enough digestive enzymes present;
. if there are enough antioxidants present;
. the ability of the kidneys to excrete wastes;
. if the lymphatics are congested.

RE: Alternative Treatments: PH Balance

Cancer cells can't survive in an alkaline body. An alkaline diet would certainly help. Refined sugar and junk food is the biggest no no. My sister was diagnosed in Sept with her breast cancer spreading to both lungs...stage IV. She refused the traditional route this time and went on an alkaline diet (Gerson) at home. She added other things to her protocol, including drinking ozonated water, ACHH, Essaic tea, lots of supplement, etc and she kept a positive attitude, which is very important. She later added MMS therapy and did great on it. By Dec 6 her markers had gone down to 16 and she is doing great. Her oncologist had given her one or maybe two years to live....but she tricked him!The thing is your wife must remain alkaline, which allows the immune system to do it's job getting rid of cancer cells. The trick is to kill off cancer cells faster than they can multiply.
