CancerCompass message board discussion started by donnad625 on 12/24/2007 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,19112,0.htm Sun, 12 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Sun, 12 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ hi everyone....its  nice  to find a board for people to listen....i was just diagnosed with essential thrombocytosis today and  i am so distraught..nobody seems to know much about it...i feel like the dr.didnt know enough about my condition...my plt count is down at around 485 from 750ish....i had to pull the info out of him it seemed...i also was told i have a small nodule on my lung..and a mucus plug on my trachea i think...i say i think as i am totally freaked out....he told me we are giving it 6 months for another ct scan to check out where i stand....i could go on and on as i am so overwhelmed....i just need to know where  i stand..is this a form of cancer or what??thanks for listening..i feel so alone right now....merry xmas everyone..... donnad625 Mon, 24 Dec 2007 00:00:00 GMT
