Can nonmalignant moles itch too?

I've read some things online regarding itching being a sign (or possible sign) of cancerous changes in a mole. I had the offending mole removed yesterday and will now have to wait a couple weeks for the biopsy. I'm wondering, though, if anyone knows or has experience with whether a normal mole or dysplastic nevi which is not malignant might also itch. This mole has not itched persistently, but only ocassionally. Also, this seems like a great forum, but can anyone tell me whether there are any larger (more viewers, etc.) skins cancer or melanoma forums they are aware of? Thanks.

I am also having the same problem as you! I have a bump on my back that looks like a mosquito bite, itches like one but has been there for about 4 and a half years nows. I have a dr.'s appointment tomorrow to get it looked at and I'm worried! I read your post and just wondered if you have gotten the results back from your biopsy yet? And if so what were the results?
