Super Greens

I have been reading a lot about super greens, but am not sure what product would be the best to buy and have gotten terribly confused. If there is anyone using them at this time and would like to comment it would be greatly appreciated. I did read great reviews about one of them BUT its something like $75 for a 14 day supply, which would be only one week if Jim and I both used it.Thanks,Esther

Spirulina Powder 100% Naturalby the company (NOWFOODS). Also CHORELLA are all excellent Green Foods. Swanson Vitamins has Kyoto Brand which is the best. I buy a 4lbs container of Spirulina and take 2 table spoons mix it with 8oz of juice along with some Barley Grass and it taste like a smoothie. You'll pay between $68-$73 for Spirulina if you choose to buy the 4 lbs one or you can get a smaller amount. The large one will last you over 4 months or more. If you go to the website (naturalnews.com) they have an article on Spirulina and Chorella and all their numerous health benefits.

Ester,If you really want super greens get a juicer and juice all the fresh veggies, spinach, broccoli, carrots, parsley, apples, oranges etc. that you want. It is a chore to wash them and clean up but you'll get the hang of it. I love the juices! I read that they reach the cellular level in 15 minutes. Also alkalinizes your body to fight cancer. I know a lot of people who belive in the alkaline fighting cancer. If juicing is not an option, then try Green Kamut (wheatgrass juice) or Just Barley. They are powders that you mix 2 teaspoons with water or juice. I like apple juice. Fresh juices are better tasting but these are good with juice. They may take getting used to. They are about $12 depending on the size. My green kamut cost 12.50 for 45 servings.
