CancerCompass message board discussion started by stephie1965 on 1/2/2008 http://www.cancercompass.com/message-board/message/all,19294,0.htm Fri, 10 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT Fri, 10 Oct 2008 00:00:00 GMT http://backend.userland.com/rss RSS.NET: http://www.rssdotnet.com/ Hello.  I recently posted not long ago about my husband battleing cholangiocarcinoma which is know as bile duct cancer of the liver.  well, he passed away just before Christmas.  It's a horrible cancer......and it happened so fast.  After 6 chemo treatments, he stopped eating...became disoriented, couldn't walk, talk....all he did was sleep, so i had to call hospice, and 3 days later he died....just like that.  So, anyone out there that's battling this kind of cancer...i wish you all the luck.  I would also suggest clinical trial.  As for Pete though, it was too late.  This kind of cancer is very aggressive.Stephie stephie1965 Wed, 02 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT You and your family are in my prayers.  Sorry about your loss. lolomike Thu, 03 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT I'm so sorry for your loss.  I am new to this site and haven't seen your other posts.  How long did your husband battle this? I'm afraid I'm facing the loss of my husband to cholangiocarcinoma soon. He is 42.  He has secondary cancer in his liver, abdomen, and spine.  He was diagnosed in October and just had his second chemo treatment last week due to one delay after another.  We tried to do a clinical trial but insurance wouldn't pay for anything if trial was started.  In the last month, he has lost so much weight that he doesn't even resemble his pictures from this summer.  teacherintexas Mon, 21 Jan 2008 00:00:00 GMT
