Pet Prescription Card

I thought I'd pass along a discovery I made this week. AAA offers a prescription discount, at no additional charge, for its members and family...pets included, . It covers only medications dispensed by a pharmacy. I had a prescription filled for 60 piroxicam 10mg capsules and paid $8. If you go the the AAA website and search the website, you can print out a prescription card template, fill in your membership information and provide it to your pharmacist. The site also lists participating pharmacies. It might be worth getting AAA becasue the discount pays for the membership itself. Barbara

Wow! Thanks for the great tip. I've been an AAA member for years and never use it. (My membership renewal bill just came and I was cranky at having to pay it!) Annie has been spending $40 a month on her Piroxicam for some time now. If I can get it cut even in half, it will be fabulous.Thank you so much for sharing this.Marty
